In the case of Jobs, who passed away in October at the age of 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, his specific Grammy falls under the Trustees Award category.
There's also the Lifetime Achievement Award category, which includes such recipients as Glen Campbell, Allman Brothers Band, George Jones and Diana Ross.
A special ceremony will be held on Feb. 11, 2012, for all of this year's honorees, one day before the actual Grammy Awards telecast from Los Angeles airing on CBS.
