PDFPrintE-mail

Indian naval ships INS RANJIT and INS KULISH anchored at the northern port of Hai Phong in the city of the same name on May 30.

The ships headed by Rear Admiral P. Murugesan, Commander of the Indian Naval Eastern Fleet, will stay in Vietnam for four days as part of diplomatic activities to boost friendship and cooperation between the two armies and naval forces, as well as people of the two countries.

During the visit, officers of the two ships will pay courtesy visits to the municipal leaders, and officers of the High Command of Military Zone 3 and Ministry of National Defence.

They will have friendly sports activities with members of the Vietnamese navy, provide health checks-up to children at the city’s Hoa Phuong Orphanage and visit some landscapes in the city.

Sailors of the two ships will meet Vietnamese sailors and students of naval schools during their stay in Hai Phong./.
