Vietnam Prosperity Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VPBank) on December 16 applied dossier to offer bonus shares for the existing shareholders to scale up chartered capital in the second phase of 2011.
Accordingly, the bank will issue additional 61.6 million shares, equaling to 13.89 percent of the bank's current chartered capital. After the share issuance, the bank's chartered capital will be 5.05 trillion dong.
Earlier, VPBank hiked its chartered capital for the first phase of 2011 from four trillion dong to 4.434 trillion dong via paying dividend at the ratio of 10.5 percent and offering bonus shares at the ratio of 0.35 percent to the existing shareholders.
