In the trading session on December 14, on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC), foreign investors returned to net purchase in volume with nearly 892,000 units but still posted net sale in value of 3.8 billion dong, down nearly 68 percent against nearly 11.7 billion dong in the previous trading session, due to they made net sale for shares with high market price. The total buying and selling value reached 125 billion dong and 128.8 billion dong respectively.
STB posted the strongest net sale for the third consecutive session in week in both volume and value with nearly two million shares worth over 27.8 billion dong, rising nearly 52 percent compared to nearly 18.3 billion dong in the previous trading session.
Meanwhile, CTG posted high net sale in value with nearly 10.8 billion dong, DPM at nearly 8.4 billion dong, BVH at nearly 8.3 billion dong, VIC at nearly 5.5 billion dong, MSN at nearly five billion dong and it was less than 1.2 billion dong for the others.
Conversely, ITA posted the strongest net purchase volume with over 570,000 units while HAG reported the biggest net purchase value with over 10.8 billion dong.
The runners-up were PNJ, PHR, REE, MBB, ITA, VCB and PVF with value of from 3.9 billion dong to seven billion dong and it was less than 2.9 billion dong for the others.
On Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), foreigners retained net purchase of nearly 633,000 units worth nearly 6.3 billion dong, tripling against nearly 2.1 billion dong in the previous trading session.
PVX posted the strongest net purchase in both volume and value with over 319,000 units for over 2.5 billion dong and followed by KLS and DBC with nearly 1.9 billion dong and over 1.2 billion dong respectively. The value was below 741 million dong for the other shares.
Meanwhile, BVS marked the strongest net sale in both volume and value with nearly 93,000 units worth over 1.1 billion dong, marking the highest net sale value of BVS since October 21 so far. The remaining shares posted value of less than 264 million dong.
