Basing on the closing price in the trading session on December 12, as many as 416 of 700 shares are being traded at below face value and 570 of 700 share codes reached the Price-To-Book Ratio (P/B Ratio) at around 1. It's easy to see that the corporate value has been being depreciated against its real value.
As many as 37 of 700 listed enterprises now have the market capitalisation value at below 10 billion dong-the minimum capital level to be able to list share on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). Of 37 listed firms, there are three with the market capitalisation value of less than five billion dong, including QCC, DST and VE3.
