Real estate shares hit floor price December 9

A series of real estate shares such as NTL, NVT, NTB, ITC, and SJS hit the floor price in the last trading session of this week. However, HAG only slipped slightly although S&P lowered Hoang Anh Gia Lai's credibility rating from B to 'B-'. Closing the trading session on December 9, the VN Index of Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) fell for the fourth consecutive session to 377.16 pts, down 1.17 percent from the previous trading session. The trading volume reached over 31.7 million units worth nearly 440 billion dong, down over 30 percent from the previous trading session. Key stocks such as CTG, SSI, VCB, BVH, MSN, VIC also lost points. A series of real estate shares hit the floor price such as HDG, ITC, KDH, NTB, NTL, NVT, SJS and OGC. Meanwhile, DXG gained the ceiling price to 9,900 dong per share with trading volume of over 100,000 units. Notably, HAG dropped only 3.5 percent to 22,000 dong per share with trading volume of nearly 1.2 million shares. On the northern bourse, the HNX Index closed down 1.37 percent to 61.73 pts. The trading volume reached over 26 million units valued at over 248 billion dong, increasing slightly from the previous trading session. KLS and VND led the market in terms of trading volume. Meanwhile, many stocks of securities companies hit the floor price such as AVS, ORS, PHS, SME, and VIG.
