To that end, the Binh Duong workforce should develop its trade skills to meet global requirements, said the State leader while sending his best congratulations to the province’s people on the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year Festival.
In addition, Binh Duong should further boost services especially in finance, banking and insurance, to make them accountable for larger role in the province’s economy.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Nguyen Hoang Son, chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, briefed Triet about socio-economic achievements of Binh Duong over last year.
The provincial economy reportedly grew 10.3 percent last year. Despite impacts of the global economic crisis, Binh Duong raked in 6.9 billion USD from exports in the year, up 5.8 percent from 2008./.
