Entitled “Circle Painting – Strong hands”, the exhibition, opened Dec. 2, showcasing several artworks, including 6 large-scale paintings, 200 decorated straw hats, 20 small paintings committed to preventing violence against women.
According to the museum, the artworks were created at events held in the northern central province of Nghe An and Hanoi respectively on November 20 and 24 by more than 500 people. Contributors included violence survivors, perpetrators, students and representatives from UN agencies, international organizations, Vietnamese civil society and Government stakeholders.
The exhibition is free and open to public. Vietnamese Women’s Museum is located on 36 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hanoi.
