PetroVietnam Insurance arm targets 330b dong profit in 2010
According to the approved resolution, in 2010, PVI targets to earn nearly 4.03 trillion dong premium (or 113 percent of 2009's figure) and 330.07 billion dong of pre tax profit (or 150 percent of 2009's figure) with 15 percent dividend payment.
In 2009, PVI attained 3.566 trillion dong of revenue, up 32.24 percent against 2008's figure and exceeding 18.6 percent of the year's target.
PVI's pre tax profit in 2009 was 220.1 billion dong, a year-on-year increase of 28.13 percent and equalling to 101 percent of last year's plan.
Ending the trading session on March 10, PVI-coded shares slipped 100 dong to 28,300 dong per share with 146,400 shares being traded.
