Hoa Phat group's 11-month after tax profit fulfils 67pct of yr's plan

Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Co (HPG) has recently announced the business results for the first 11 months of this year with total revenue of 16.562 trillion dong, or 95 percent of the year's revenue plan. HPG earned after tax profit of 1.252 trillion dong in Jan-Nov, equalling to 67 percent of the year's target. In November alone, the company's revenue was 1.499 trillion dong and after tax profit was 66 billion dong. The company's steel consumption output in November reached 50,500 tonnes, up 19 percent from October. Totally, in the first 11 months of this year, Hoa Phat's steel consumption reached 577,000 tonnes, up nearly 10 percent from the same period last year. Hoa Phat group ranked at the 47th position in VNR500 ranking list-TOP 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam 2011 and is one of seven biggest private firms in Vietnam.
